Hello,
I just got approved for Citi double cash. I applied for it because both me and my friend who referred me are getting bonuses.
SL is low given low APR but that's my first Citi card and I know they don't over extend credit specially to new customers. I applied for Citi card before and was denied due to 6/6 rule and here are my data points.
They pulled EX: 736 FICO8
Inquiries: 3 in last 6 months and wait for it 25 total (Citi is not inquiry sensitive except for last 6 months)
Thanks,
Congrats and thank you for letting us know the datapoint!
You can try requesting CLI in 6 months after account opening, and if the language says "a credit bureau report will not be requested and you will get an instant decision".
Congrats on your approval !!!

Lol certainly not for me .. All profile specific regardless congrats as I have has 12+ accounts in 6 months and approved
This soft rule applies mostly to new Citi customers and people with not so HOT profiles.
So people with too many recent accounts/thin files/short history.
Thanks,
Congratulations on your approval!
