Yea. Best Buy gave me 9.95 CL to start. That's weird too.

If your saying you got $500 cash back, that would mean that you spent 25k in 6 months on a card with a $500 CL. If so that must have annoyed you, I'm glad things are better now, congrats on the CLI.
