So my year old citi card was graduated earlier this month. I PC it to Double Cash on the phone but the lady said i should wait till the card arrives before my CLI request is taken.
Today I just gave in to the urge and clicked the request cli link in the phone app.
The wording was kind of ambiguous. "depending on your xxxx (forgot the word), we MIGHT not need to request a credit bureau report".
Think for a while and hit it. They ask for my income/rent and boom. 1000 increase. Now at 2500. I'll take it 🙂 considering August last year, I had no credit score and no credit card.

I am currently subscribed to daily reports from all 3 CRAs, so far i see now mention of any new INQ. And the cli was like instant, plus now warnings about a report from citi, so I believe it is an SP.
I also saw a Want even more credit increase link in the app, but I believe that's where the HPs involved. I'll save it for my next wish list card. Either an Uber Visa or a second Chase card.
