Hey Y'all,

So I was supposed to be in the garden for a couple of years but we all know that was a lie. I seriously need some self control LOL!

I went ahead and pulled the trigger for the Citi Premier. This was my first (and hopfully last) Citi card. Expectidly, I got the 7-10 day message. So I called recon and they wanted to verify my identity. I emailed them a scan of my ID and called back a few days later. I got approved for $4,600. Kinda bummed but Citi does have a SP CLI feature so it shouldent matter too much. On to the MSR!

My plan for the Premier is to use it for the 3x on grocery & gas after I max out my Amex EDP $6,000 spend. After year one, I will downgrade to the Rewards + or AT&T Access so my TYP can remain safe (assuming no rentention). However, if I use my TYP by then, and still no retention, I will downgrade to the DC or Costco.

Stats: 0/6, 5/24, 77X on all three, AAoA ~1.3 yrs, My last app was CSP back in Oct 2019, Oldest is CFU Oct 2018

Sounds like a good plan. Don't be bummed, that is a decent limit and that is like your 6th card in 2 years... among other credit apps you may have done. So, right now it is like the perfect limit. SP CLI will help bring back big smiles and a bigger limit
