Turkish deems lower 48/ Alaska / Hawaii as one region. Thus, a flight from IAD to HNL/ANC for example can be booked for 7,500 one way in coach or 12,500 in first (if you can find availability -- which I found to be tough). It's important to know that it is kind of a hassle. You have to find saver space on United, note down the flight numbers, times, etc (only one connection is allowed), and phone up Turkish to save the booking... transfer your TYP... then call them once more to book.
