Approved with a 10K SL. This is not enought for me, if possible i would like to have a higher SL around the 20K.
Given that i already have a 16.5K AA card, applying for a Citi Prestige it would make sense that the SL was higher.
The reason for me to get the Prestige is to make it my daily driver and sock drawer the AA card. I'm not happy with SL.. Well yes! I am happy and grateful for the approval but i find it hard to swallow that is their premium card, with an annual fee of $500 and they give me the same SL as my AA card back then 10K. I expected something in turn of the 17K threshold from reading here.
What can i do?

If you are going to SD your AA card why not move some of that SL to your Prestige?
THIS ^ I want to do this but i don't know how to do it or how to request it. What number should i call?
@Priory_Man wrote:If your sig is correct it looks like you have only just started out on your credit journey, given time the Prestige card will grow but at this time I am guessing that Citi has extended to you as much credit as they think you can handle or are willing to risk.
I was afraid of this, i can only hope that around 30K it's not as much as they are willing to extend to me . Some DP: Supplied POI with 200K, Savings account in Citi. Score the one in my siggie last time i checked.
I have just started out though. May 2018 my AA acct was opened, first CC. It started reporting in EQ last November. I applied for the Prestige 10 months after having the AA opened. I am patient and i'll let it grow... but still, isn't a bit on the lower side 10K for this type of card despite my thin/short story file? Or is it appropiate?

If you just received the card, Id call into underwriting (the line for declines not existibg cards). They usually can “reevaluate” the line when you first got it. I was able to do this myself back in January. They almost doubled my credit line.
Hi thanks! It was just approved yesterday and today i received the notice. Do you have the numbers you used please?
So i tell them "reevaluate"? What more can i tell them? Any feedback per your previous experience, it is my first time doing this. thanks.
Citi reallocation rules.
And congrats on your new card even if the limit wasn't to your liking.

I usually just call them number on the back of my card.
The trick to getting to someone without going through all the automated stuff and a ton of menu options, is to not respond to what the auto voice is asking, after the third time of asking the auto voice will transfer you to a human rep.
Read over the link in the post above, and good luck.

Thanks
I called some numbers of Citi including the EO citi cards to explain that I'm not happy with my SL, that i will use this card 90% of the time abroad. They told me to better wait until my physical has arrived, as i dont have the CC number.
So i guess to do anything i have to wait until my CC arrives.
I will also when the card arrives use the number in the back of the card, Thanks for the automation tip, i always do this.. don't answer them or answer correctly to get to a person. Sometimes i say "Talk to a representative", "Talk to a person" also and the machine sometimes gets it and triggers a human being.
Is it 100% true until now what is says that my Citi Prestige has to be opened for 6 months to transfer the line of my AA Plat to the Prestige? Are there any success exeptions? Previous this piece of information i thought there was no trouble transfer part of 1 line to the other instantly haha. I guess they put you things more tricky lol
Congrats you are doing very well with citi for you limited profile.. I think it is going to be a very though sell to get them to increase it personally as citi is a very conservative lender, but best of luck
Guys, i just received my Citi Prestige (they overnight it) but there is something weird.
Upon activating the card i see it's not linked to my Citi main account. Is this usual?
I also click on FICO score and it says none, when i already have 719 with the other AA card if i click on FICO score.
It says cardmember since 2019 , and i been a mastercard citi customer since last year.
It seems this card was like issue for two different persons???
What i mean is i have different name spelling on the two cards. They vary a bit. One is with my First Last Name and the other is with my Second Last Name. Shall i point this to Citi??? Maybe that's why the 10K limit despite me having the other card?, because they think its a new customer altogether?
Or is it like this that when you open a new account the bank doesnt take in count the stats of your first credit card relationship with them. Like cardmember since etc.
Sorry first second card ever!
