Re: Citi Rewards approval

Congrats on the nice SL with Citibank. I plan to apply with Citi in exactly 6 1/2 months. Enjoy!

Re: Citi Rewards approval

What does a 2nd HP do that the 1st one doesn't? This really makes no sense to me and it creates 2 pulls I'm guessing within the the first 48-72hrs of approval. Same day of being approved? If you're going to take another pull, why not just app for another card you're eying? Very curious

It doesn't make sense but, it's a fact.  You can't take the 2nd HP until you have the card in hand and that takes about 8 days to show up.  Also, the rules of applying are 1/8 and 2/65.

There's nothing different in your reports between the app, approval, getting the card usually... it's just that Citi is stingy and doesn't cough up the true limit at approval and leaves additional cash on the table to be collected when you get the card.

2 extra HP's got me an additional 10K across 2 cards.
