Citi luv denial turned approval

Short story...

I call Citi about something unrelated to luv, wind up talking casually to the rep and we go for luv. They shut me down and say they'll send a letter.

I decided "can't hurt" and try the luv button in the app, and BOOM, $4000 CLI approved.

Anyone else run into this with Citi in the past?
