This was a coin toss for me but since my BoA only went unsecured and stayed with a credit limit of $500, I really needed another Visa for use at Costco. I honestly thought they still used Amex and found out while trying to pay for a membership. This card also has decent cashback at restaurants plus the 4% cashback at Costco when used with the executive membership (2% cashback for each in coupon form every Feb).

Data Points: New accounts are not showing up yet but total credit utilization is just below 30% and with balances only on my AAFES card and Capital One cards, both sitting at just over 70% util. I also have two 0 balance secured cards with 1K limits showing during this app. I do not have the Amex BCE, NFCU, USAA Amex showing on my reports yet. 9 of 11 credit cards reporting zero balance.
1 open mortgage, 1 closed mortgage, 4 student loans, 2 paid auto loans, 2 open auto leases. Never late on all the big accounts. 6 of the credit card accounts below have negatives from 2014 ( AAFES 90 Day late). From late 2016 Home Depot, Amazon, BoA (30 day late) and Cap One, Barclaycard (60 day late) 1 closed paid in full utility charge off from 2015/16. No late payments for 15 months.
AAoA just under 5 years. Monthly obligations 2500-2600 on credit report. Income 85K.
They pulled Experian and I was expecting Equifax since that one had very little inquiries. Experian score of 682, dropped due to 8 Inquiries.
Saving my last credit card addition for a chase travel card, not sure I'll meet the requirements yet and I can't justify pumping thousands through a card just to get benefits since I need to pay in full to get benefits on a number of accounts already. I'll save that app for when we are ready to travel.
But if you are a costco fan, this card seems easier to get and has some decent benefits if you are patient. I'll be using this card, USAA Cashrewards Amex and my Amex BCE as my primary cards for a while. Not sure if this is a signature card or not.
Forgot to add, this was a cold app and I was not getting anything for prequal. Doubt I would have gotten one of their other cards.
