Citibank finally off their BL

Well whenever I have applied I get instant denial. I included them in BK 2005. I have tried the pre qualify site and never get an offer so I decided I would try a cold app I got the 7-10 day message and thought well it's not instant denial. Just got email roughly 48 hours after applying . Approved for citi simplicity card 2800CL 0% BTs. They pulled EXP 720 11 inquires about 15%utilization.

I can't believe it. Took 13 years but I am back in. Not sure if I should just sit on this one or try for another citi card? But whatever the case goodbye Cap One goodbye.

Congrats, rememember you need to wait 8 days in between Citi apps.

Also, simply Amazing they took themselves off their own blacklist

Thanks I think I will just sit with the one for now after I thought about it lol. Between that and Pen fed I have decent lines and stillneed to get rid of the little cards and have them all updated to that and then I should have a pretty good amount of cards.

Good for you.  I've received two CLIs from Citi on my Simplicity and DC.  Both started at $4,800.  Both are now at $7,800.  Maybe I'll be over $10k on these two in a year.

Right on que, last night was 4 months and one day on my Sportsman Guide Visa.  Went to $10,250.

$10k is my new standard before I stop asking for a CLI.

I too got off their BL last month at exactly 7 years which is their minimum if they’re IIB (according to their EO).
