Citizens Bank 1.8% Cash Back Plus WM Approved!

Been on a roll lately, decided to keep it going, applied for Citizens Bank 1.8% cashback card since just signed up for checking account. App went pending from 6/30, approved on 7/20 (day I arrived back in the states from cruise LOL). $4,600 SL, 18.99%.

DP: Pulled only EQ with 717 FICO, 6+ new accounts since Jan 2017. Its a Chip and Pin card. Even though Citizens is regional, it appears credit cards may be open to everyone and checking is regionalized.

Re: Citizens Bank 1.8% Cash Back Plus WM Approved!

I have the same card and I love it because the cash back rewards post as soon as a transaction clears, unlike my card with Discover which doesn't post the cash back earned until the statement cuts. I'm the kind of person who likes to use a card for a charge and pay it off right away, so waiting for statement cut is a nuisance for me. Also Citizens preapproved me with no HP at all, one day when I was in the branch they told me I was pre approved for a card and that was that. Also they were the highest SL that I've had so far which is amazing since I have horrible/rebuilding credit. So yay Citizens!

The only negative is that I think they require you to accumulate $20 in cash back rewards before you can redeem them. Oh well.
