I will start with the good news... I had a wayfair card that was recently closed with a decent CL (2300). I did have a pre approval for the IKEA card with a 6000 CL. Before trying the pre approval I decided to try synchrony car care for the extra rebate on tires. Synchrony is still bitter with me, they were a hard NO. Pulled TU, my current TU FICO8 is 672. I have been seeing all the luck everyone was having with PENFED and with Equifax being my strongest score (688 FICO8) decided to join and app for their card. DECLINED... I am currently trying to Recon so I will post results of the recon. After the first two rejections i figured I would try for the pre approval with Comentiy and... Approved for IKEA and a SL of 6000, set up online access and hit the Luv button and BOOM $9000. Didn't feel like pressing my luck too far. Comenity pulled Experian. Current Experian is 683 FICO8. I am hoping the recon works with PenFed so I can ditch my Credit one card.
