Update: received the card today and activated it and registered it online and hit the luv button; approved for $500 CLI. Interestingly enough, it gave the option if I would allow them to access my credit report in order to consider the request. I did NOT check that box, fearing an HP. Anybody have any info about that? Does checking that box mean an HP?
Thought I'd give Comenity another shot (or see if they'd give me another shot), and make my pair of approvals into a mini spree since I have a ton of inquiries falling off in the next month. Did the whole SCT prequalified thing, and was approved for $2000 SL. Not a bad util buffer, plus I do frequent Ceasar's properties. Any idea of the growth potential/speed of this card? If they insta-close the account, this will be the last I ever do business with Comenity.
Anyways, pretty sure I'm done apping for awhile, going to garden for a few months then planning on taking a couple HPs for some Chase and Barclays CLI action. Thinking my scores will be 10-20 higher with a little account aging and paying down, plus the 40+ point increase since I opened the Chase accounts, my higher income than before, and with some inquiries gone I should do fine 🙂
