Good morning all-

I’ve used this forum fairly frequently for research over the years, and figured it was time to contribute some data since I hadn’t found much. Commerce had been sending me frequent pre-approval forms, with the last being a zero BT fee, 0% interest offer. APR after the 12 month introductory fee is fixed at 12.49%, and there are some 3-2-1 cashback categories that I disremember at the moment. Anyway, since I can apparently be browbeaten into accepting an offer and I have a smallish Citibank balance coming up on the end of its 0% purchase period, curiosity got the better of me and I caved.

Instant approval for $9000.
Pulled Transunion- I am in Minnesota. 771 at the time.

6% aggregate utilization
11% highest individual utilization
$49,500 income

I generally allow balances to report organically and usually PIF.

Hope this helps anyone who has received a pre-approval and is considering an app.

Birdlaw ... with a full raging Blizzard happening now ... how do you have time to deal with credit card approvals? Just sayin' ... In Minnesota too and I would love to permanently leave but where in the United States do I find quiet calming weather???
