As I’ve said in another recent post, long time reader on here. I am extremely grateful for the time all the contributors spend sharing their knowledge with the community. I figured I’d share my journey for someone else to benefit from in the future.

Background Datapoints

• MyFicoForum member since early 2010
• Haven’t applied for credit cards since 2010, which is when I did something similar to what you’re about to read. Back then I ended up getting the four cards you see listed at the beginning of April 2020 section below.
• Amex-Member since the mid-2000s (No active cards before this)
• Auto Charge off/Collection reporting on all three CB, working to remove
• 30day Late X3 (Most recent 23months ago)
• Starting SL/Utilization: Est $14.5K / ~75%
• Ending SL/Utilization: Est: $45.5K/<3%

Starting Point

• NFCU Flagship: $11.5K SL (AOA Close to 10 years) (Utilization 75%)
• Cap One Plat: $500 SL (AOA 10+ years) (Utilization 0%)
• Cap One SilverOne: $2,250 SL (AOA Close to 10 years) (Utilization %0)
• BB Citi: $400 SL (AOA Close to 10 years) (Utilization 0%)

Mid-April  Snapshot

• CLOSED BB Citi

End of April Snapshot

• (EX: 654, EQ 672, TU 649)
• Approved for Amex-HHS: $15K SL & CSP: $6.2K SL (Amex Pulled EX, Chase Pulled EX/TU)

Beginning of May Snapshot

• Approved for Apple Card: SL $1.5K (Pulled TU)
• Denied for Chase Amazon Visa Signature (Pulled EX)

Mid-May Snapshot

• Approved for Amex-Delta Reserve $3.2K (Soft Pull)
• NFCU-Paid down Utilization to 25%
• CSP Reported to all three CB (Chase 1/24)

End of May Snapshot

• EX: 664, EQ: 656, TU 686

Beginning of June Snapshot

• Apple Card Reported to TU (Chase 2/24)

Mid-June Snapshot

• (EX: 676, EQ: 679, TU 683)
• NFCU- Paid off full balance, Utilization 0% for first time in 7+ years            
• Approved for Amex-Gold (Soft Pull)
• Cap One SilverOne CLI Request approved: New SL $600
• Cap One CLI Request approved: New SL $2,450
• NFCU CLI Request approved: New SL $14.5K
• Amex-Delta Reserve reported to all three CB (Chase 3/24)
• Amex asked for early payment of the balance for Amex-Gold. Immediately paid the card off

Beginning of July Snapshot

• (EX: 681, EQ: 687, TU: 703)
• Amex- HHS reported to all three CB (Chase 4/24)
• Apple Card CLI Request approved: New SL $3K
• Amex- Transferred CL from Hilton to Delta
• Amex-HHS: 3X CLI Request @Anonymous+ days- Denied

Mid-July Snapshot

• (EX: 681, EQ: 687, TU: 703)
• Denied for CFU (Pulled EX)
• Approved for Affinity FCU Visa (Pulled EX)- $500 SL…I will not be accepting the offer

• Been literally monitoring my credit scores daily since the end of April.
• All cards are being PIF, and sometimes twice a month.
• Utilization is being kept at <3%
