Logged into my Crate & Barrel account. Decided to do a cold app.

Instant approval. HP on TU. FICO 08. Score 788.

Temporary Limit: $6000

Once I recieve and activate the card, it will be interesting to see wha the real limit is.

Passing along some info. Looks like since Sync took over the card, the slot machines are loose on the approvals.

Do you have any history with Synchrony? Any other cards or accounts with them? This is a card I thought about because of the amount of furniture I have bought previously from this store and what I might spend in the future. I had a pre-approval with them a couple of years ago but didn't want another Comenity card. Now that they are with Synchrony it is making me think again

Walmart MC $10k

Amazon $10k

CarCareOne $8k

Crate & Barrel MC $8k

Sams Club MC $10k

Lowe’s $10k

Except for the Crate and Barrel card. The above cards were acquired in 2015/2016. Like all my creditors, not one penny of interest has been paid. I always PIF.

Thank you so much for your response! I think I will let my limits build a bit higher and my current accounts with Synchrony age a little bit, then bite the bullet on applying. I just started with them last May so my history is shorter than other banks.

Sync won’t even approve me for a card 😂
I’ll be waiting for my scores to go up and then I will do a farewell app. No more trying for Sync after that 🙄
