I just got a Fee free CLI on one of my cards up to 1600!!!
Ok, OK...I know,,,BUT, I've been trying to get rid of these 2 cards; I
have a Visa and MC BUT everytime I try they wave my Annual Fee
for 6 months on BOTH. I never use the cards and MAN they will
NOT just let me go. So, besides keeping my AAoC timeline steady:
I say--NO BLOOD/NO FOUL. I'd tell everyone here after 2+ years of
Re-Building their Credit Lines to demand that Credit One to wave the
annual fee or just say Bye-Bye. They serve as a good Bridge for sure.

Get rid of it!!!
JUST SAY NO when they try to tell you that you should keep ot
it will NOT hurt your AaoA
Oh, yes.
I got two CLI's for a small fee of around $30 each if I recall.
They didn't even give me an offer to keep me when I called and cancelled my card. I was somewhat offended, but am happy to be somewhat free from them.
My app login continues to work. One day I'm at a $-2.74 balance, as I overpaid before I cancelled just in case they hit me with any fees. Then one day it said my balance was $5.00, so I paid $10 on it again.
The next day I got a $5 check from them and now my account still shows that -$2.74 balance.
It does show as closed on my CR's, but they still make me nervous.
That's so terrible mrldp40. Don't worry tho,
SYNC personally offered me a Walmart MC card and denied me too.
It happens. Don't EVER let a single set back distract you from your overall GOALS!!!
I wonder if I will have hopped over getting their mailers... seeing as my scores ought to be 750+ when I turn 21 and start getting solicited.

Didn't know charging for a CLI is even possible, good god
First premier charges TWENTY FIVE PERCENT of what the CLI is.
Is that not the craziest thing youve ever heard?
Increase from $500 -> $1500? Oh, dont forget the $250 FEE. WHAT?!?!
