Today I was fully approved for DCU Membership and for the Visa Platinum credit card with a SL of $8,500 with a APR of 9.5%. (I applied Monday for both)
I'm happy with the approval but I find it odd that I was approved for $13,500 and it was confirmed by a rep on Monday. I called again today to see why I haven't gotten any emails about the account or what I needed to do next. The first rep I talked to today (Wednesday) told me that the highest I was approved for was $5,000 and I needed to send in my recent pay stub. I was definitely concerned at this point about the change in SL but sent in my paystub which aligned with what I put on my application. I ended up having to call back again a few minutes after because the email to send in my pay stub took a while and I didn't want to hold up the Rep. As I spoke to this rep everything came back fully approved but this time the SL was $8,500. Has this happen to anyone before? 3 different SL? Otherwise I'm happy for the approval.
