Applied for this card at the same time and was denied. Applied again a few weeks later since I had a fake preapproval in my dashboard and was denied again, they used the same HP. They have a savings account that is 6.17% up to $1,000, so since I've been trying to save a lot I figured why not throw a grand in there.
Waited about a month and applied again on Saturday and I got a message saying a representative will contact you shortly. Still have not heard from said representative, but I just logged in and the account is showing at a $10,000 limit, 10.75% APR which is fine by me. I love these types of cards.
They pulled Equifax on this new app, which was at 697 FICO confirmed through various accounts. INQ were at 37 at the time of the pull and util around 7% on now over 100K in credit. I've gone from 8K to 114K in about a year lol. I'm actually bored with this now and will let all this stuff age.

I was denied last month and the main reason was "escalating debt" which was weird because I had actually paid off some cards purposely the months prior to help bring my scores up - in any case, I had way fewer INQs and only 1 new account in last 6 months (3 in last 12). Happy for you, maybe they can show me some love down the line!
