DH mini spree approvals

Husband just applied and was approved for Chase Freedom and Savor. He was at 3/24. 

Savor: $12,000

Chase SL: $7,900

He was preapproved from his account for all chase cards. No preapprovals from cap one but he went for it anyway. I'll have to ask who they pulled, not sure yet. I was nervous for him to app for Savor because of all the declines with profiles like his but he got it. Plan to downgrade to savor one after the first year because of the fee but we spend a lot of money on dining and take out.

Scores are around 800 
AAOA 5 years, but 3 on TU
No baddies
2-4 inq each bureau
3 apps in the last 2 years (all this year), 6 months since last card
