I started my rebuild July 2016 score (519). I got my first credit card (credit one vise unsecured 300) SL post Bk march 2017 1yr-550 1 1/2yr 800cl. In September 2017 I got the capitol one QS1 starting limit 500 steps- 6mnth 750 1yr 2250. In March 2018 I got the capitol one platinum starting limit 500 sl steps - 6mnth 750- 7mnth- upgraded to QS no fee. Score is now 670 respectively across all 3 bureaus. I decided to get a discover card and choose the chrome it. They only gave me a 500sl. how much and often or quick do the CLI happen? I guess I should be happy to be back in the game I was really hoping for at least a 1,000 sl. Any comments will be appreciated.

Congratulations on your approval! Don't fret on the SL. Discover can grow rather quickly. Like the commenters stated above, there are tons of threads on Discover CLI and SL.

Don't feel bad. Just appreciate what you get and know that it will grow in no time! I got my first auto cli from them 4 months after I got the card (Discover IT). Then after that you can always ask for CLI SP on their site so just take care of it. It's a worth it bank

Discover also gave me a $500 SL. After 2.5 months I requested a bump and they gave me a $1000. It'll grow quick. Patience Patience

Congrats on your approval! I decided to take the plunge on the Discover IT Chrome card today as well and was approved for 10k! Very excited since I just started rebuilding my credit 2 years ago exactly this month! I think you will see a faster CL increase than most people and even better interest rates.
