I just read your old thread as I was searching for Discover threads, as I am thinking about getting a 2nd one. The posters on that thread were saying AMEX is 5 years and Chase is no go with BK. I didn't see anyone say Discover was 5 years. That would have been strange since the BK and rebuilders section is full of recommendations to try Discover early in a build even from BK. I got Discover 1 year after BK. Its even in the big BK friendly thread
