DU and Uber approvals

So last week I got 2 good CLI’s on some 4+year old cards.

That for me excited to app for two new cards. The DU card was appealing to be as my wife and I both travel 40+ miles for work so naturally we spend a good chunk of money on fuel every month. I also liked the cash back category’s on the Uber card, although I’ve never used an Uber in my life.

I was laying in bed browsing the site like I usually do and decided I’d hit the submit button on them both. Instant approvals on both. DU at $4,500 and Uber at $2,900( seems like an odd amount) I may try to recon the Uber card when I get to to see if I could get a little higher limit.

Overall I’m pretty pleased with the instant approvals.

Back to the garden I’ll go for a long while now.

Congrats! On the Uber, definitely call them ASAP and ask for a recon. I applied in March and got a $2000 SL. I called them within 30 minutes for a recon, and they asked a few questions and then wanted to know how much I was seeking. I told them $6000, and without any hesitation they approved. Wish I had asked for $10k just to see if they would have given it to me!
