Discover, I have gotten love as early as 6 weeks after last press of love button.

You could also read about the disco double dip'n - others will prob add more on that!

Might be other way around, call in first, then hit luv button after, but I have never done it myself

Congrats! With Discover, people are usually on 30, 60 or 90 day cycles, sometimes much longer. There's no harm in asking every 30 days. With Citi it's exactly 6 calendar months, so set your calendar for September 2nd. Asking too early doesn't reset the Citi clock for your Citi increase (and why did I just read that in the City Wok guy's voice?).
