Other noteworthy data points: Youngest reporting account is three months old. Yes, they did pull from EX. It’s not a typo. Second Synchrony app in less than 6 months that pulled EX. DP’s suggest Synchrony might be using VS stats. Another I read say CLI’s are SP’s after 60 days. Either way, I’ll use it for at least 6 months for every fill-up and then, a couple times a year after just to keep it open. I’m not heavy in an Ecosystem yet. Just trying to diversify for now.
I applied for this card because: I know, it’s a gas card, but follow me here.....intro offer is 10 cents off. I live in West Texas where expensive gas is now $1.79 per gallon. Plus, Phillips 66 is on every corner and they have a gas app. Put the card and the app together, I now have 25 cents off per gallon on gas for the next 6 months! I’ll be hard pressed to find a better gas offer in my market.
If nothing else, 10 cents off per gallon beats out 5x options if gas stays under $2 per gallon.
