@MCF, my sentiments EXACTLY!!! How do I get approved for a conservative lender like AMEX with 4.7k but I can't get a CLI with Orchard after 3 years of good payment history?? They didn't even deserve to be SD'd....

yep.. true that! They basically at first said, oh we are the EO we can do what we want.. cause cap1 said no cli is avail for those 2 accts they acquired.. so i went to the top. So by him saying that i thought for sure id get a couple 2000 .. they didnt even counter.. lol oh well.. they need our business.. we do not need theirs.

im gonna wait because my second cap1 card is due for a cli.. 7th statement next month.. if its only to 750.. im gonna be hot.. so im soon to follow.. outta the SD to the CAN

   Congrats!! to the OP. My situation was the same, Opened Orchard in 2010 with $320 cl, after 2yrs cli to $520. I emailed the EO and tried to cli but flat no evertime. I even told them I'm going to cancel my account and the only thing they can do was to re-imburse my AF for that year. Also this was when they were in the middle of the transition.

   I recently sent EO email about 2wks ago but in this email, I toned it down with the wording....lol. 3 days later got a call from a very nice Rep from EO and she was very professional and understood my situation. She said she'll contact me in a few days to she what she can do.

   Ok, my Orchard card was maxed out and over the limit @ $520.15!!! Worst time to request cli but to my surprise I checked my account and it was upto $750!! Even though it was maxed out, she still gave me a cli!! I made sure i got her extention for next time!!.

The EO office called me today per my email to the CEO. They wanted to do a HP on all three reports for a CLI...to that I said heck no. If I was going to take HP's like that I would apply for a new card that's more beneficial. My card is officially closed.
