In with Amex!!

Really really wanted this card or the BCE before I garden for the next 12-24 months. Experian score jumped to 659 today and knew it was my shot. Went to the pre-qual site and bam!! PRE-APPROVED! Couldn't believe it. 6 months ago scores were at 540, 6 collections removed, 4 charge-offs paid.

Went and applied... BOOM! Approved for $1000 SL. Profile is complete for now and off to the garden for the next 12-24 months. Really really wanted an airline card and to have one with Amex... ahh so nice.

Data - Experian 659 fico 8, 6 inquiries in 24 months, 13% Util, AAOA 2 years 9 months

Once I water this card for a while I'll go for one of the Amex big boys in a couple years.

Congrats on your approval!! I want an Amex but, have over 40 inqs so I need to be in the garden for at least a 1 year. I’m going to try in July when my bk is 5 years. Yay or nay, I’m taking a seat in the garden.
