Navy is known to use EQ Fico 9 model unless things have changed. (Just started back up following these forums) Did you get an alert on which report they pulled? I know you mention TU score but just wanted to clarify you're certain which one was pulled. Either way with that BK falling off soon you should be good after 91/3 timeframe for a CLI.

EQ9 for CLIs,  TU9 for new card apps.

And yes,  I agree - that BK falling off is perfect timing for a CLI.  I honestly think OP has no worries with Navy...  they just often like to test the waters first before diving in.

Stats say otherwise . I totally disagree here. Navy is usually the ones that grant higher limits when your other limits are lower on profile .

@AI_JMV  Sorry for your dissapointmentSmiley Sad

I have had my share, trust me on this.

Hang tough with NFCU despite the feeling of wanting to possibly close it.

I have a friend that started out with a nRewards secured card, toughed it out,

2 years later He has 3 cards with $80K total credit limits.

He also has a $5K CLOC and a ridiculous rate car loan.

Re: Disappointed with Navy Approval

@AI_JMV  Also

This person was frustrated, I suggested app'ing for a second card (in another thread)

Here is the outcome;

Give it some time, use your current card and I think things will change for you!

You can also read here, lot's of very good NFCU info on CLI's and additional cards.

Sorry for your denials

Navy saves the killer CLs for your 2nd and 3rd accounts with them
