I opened my Discover IT Miles card on April 19, 2021 for 3k
Used it to pay for a hefty medical expense and have been carrying a large balance on it--- once I paid back the medical expense, I put a big car expense on it, then continued using it and my new WF CashWise as daily drivers
Some statement cuts were large, others I'd make significant decreases in util
This last cut I actually had a pretty high util, but right now it's low. Ironically, it was about to cut in a few days but I was impatient and pulled the trigger before the cut
Was approved despite less than 1 year of statement cuts for a 2.5k CLI, after opening 2 new accounts (WF and FirstTech)
Reported an income increase of like 7k, due to scholarships. My work is doing this thing now where they give us scholarships, but it counts as taxable income. I don't know if I reported a housing cost increase or decrease. I'm never quite sure what to put, because I live "free" with my family but often contribute toward living expenses just to help out. This time I put $50 monthly, but I'm not sure what I said last time-- probably $0, $50, or $100. As I hit "submit" it took quite a while to load, as if it was thinking
