2016 - $900 SL

2017 - $300 CLI

2021 - CLI to $5,800 in January

2022 - CLI to $6,800 in June?

Been denied at least 4 times since then.  Was going to put them on the CHOP list but:   Hit the LUV button and they gave me $1,000 bump.  I was inspired by @ipmyf88 who didn't start getting increases until allowing balances to report.  This would be my first in about 3 years.  I wonder... although I've got a theory about scoring that I'll propose in a separate thread, but for now, not too shabby.

My early years with Discover (at least five) were denials or $500. In fact I had an auto CLI for $250. Really wondered about me or them? Later they let the dogs loose and I would get $4000 at a crack so know you are in good company. As to logic on CLIs ... the mystery?

@Anonymous it is frustrating in the least, but at this point I may as well keep them. Who knows? Maybe the floodgates will open or my aim will get better on that dartboard @FireMedic1  posted... thats EXACTLY hiw it feels with these guys!  🤣

@Anonymous I literally got the exact same CLI!!! After 8-Months with my Discover it Cash Back, I requested a CLI online and it instantly came back with a $1.5K increase from $5K to $6.5K! The $1.5K thing doesn't surprise me nearly as much as both of us asking the same amount of months since our respective accounts have been opened! I wonder if they're handing everyone roughly the same amount, give-or-take a little? 🤔

@805orbust A very hearty congrats on the CLI! $1,000 is a very big deal and I'd be happy to get that as a CLI most any day, though I really would like it to be Cap 1 as they're to me what Discover is to you in this case! In my last actual rare approval with Cap 1, they gave me a $100 CLI! (I asked for $2,000) I took it, but I was a bit disappointed considering all the work I put into build a strong credit profile! Cap 1 is their own worst enemy! 😞
