DW had no credit cards except for an old student loan. I advised her to get a card which she wasn't much into but we got $200 secured Discover card about 6 months ago. Today she got an email that they've returned her deposit and have bumped the card to $1800. Meanwhile Citi last month gave her $1000 DC card after she said she likes citi and applied for it lol.

Her score is in the 670s with several missed payments a 2-3 years ago. Nothing recent.
