After waiting 2 months since my first and only late Discover payment (due to changed bank account info) I finally received a $2,000 cli to $28,000

What did you start with and how long did it take to get to 28k? I hear a lot of people getting $500 at a time. Was your experience similar, or did you receive a lot of good increases getting you to such a fantastic limit?

Started out with $6,500 in late 2014.  I was at 15k within 8 months with taking HP's at that time.  Since then, most of my increases have come this year to get to 28k.
