Had an initial CL of $1000 with Discover when I signed up in November. I was denied when I requested one at 2 months, but at 3 months I got an CLI of $3000 upon request 
Now I can actually use this card for most of my purchases.

Congrats on a nice increase.. they like you more than me I am on the 500 / 90 day train. Card will probably be cancelled after the 1 year for me after they match the cash back after the 1st year as a card under 5k has no place in my wallet and will just be a 1% card other than cats, so no purpose. People either love or hate discover. I have tried to love them, but it isn't mutual thus a break-up will be happening at year mark.

Thats great! I been stuck at a $500 limit now for over a year. Always get a denial when I request a credit line increase. Discover isn't a fan of mine
