Congrats!  And the same thing happened to me - I couldn't get a secured disco and never even pre-qualed for the secured.  One day, I checked and they prequaled me for an unsecured card.  I was SO excited (mine report *did* improve, I was ~650 with EQ - they pulled EQ and Sagestream for me; EX was 610 at the time).
