I've had this card for almost 4 years, $500 limit. I would use it, then pay it off. My credit has mostly hovered around the 580s-600s since then, off and on (due to high credit usage on other cards, and a few late payments on other ones as well).
In June, I paid off all of my store cards, and a few of my bank cards. Most are at 0 now, and a few have small balances. My credit is up in the 650 range now per Fico (CK is saying 690!).
I woke up this morning to a lovely email from discover saying they are returning my security deposit, and raising my CL to $1500. I'll take it. I was honestly thinking about closing this card as I closed my Citi Secured a few weeks ago as that was a pain to keep open.
So, my advice, no matter how long you have had this card- keep trying. If you work hard you will be rewarded!

Congrats on your uncsecuring and your cli! Hopefully citi gives me something like that since I just know my citi secured is unsecured. I don't know if they will give me a cli.

Congrats on your graduation and CLI OP. I don't know which is greatest, an unexpected graduation or a 3x auto CLI, but you hit both, and that has to be pretty rewarding. Whatever you're doing, keep it up!
