Discover IT Approved! 

I applied for a Discover it Card last week as they are offering 0% balance transfer for 14 months, no interested on purchases for 6 months and no international fees (going to Cabo next month) When I applied they said I needed to Call them, when i spoke to a Rep she said I needed to upload a copy of my DL and Social Card. Once I did that I called back and was approved with a SL of $3,000 which would be my highest card had I not just gotten a CLI from Maps credit union (went from $2,500 to $5,000, increase not showing on my report yet) Overall I am excited about it!

Do you guys think I should switch from AMEX Blue cash Magnet $1k as my daily card and start using discover? I have had the Magnet for a year and they will not for the life of me give me a CLI, they state that I have too many inquires and I only have 4, they have yet to reconsider. I run about $3k-$4k each month.

Only if your profile supports it - I would use the card that will give you the most cash back/point reward. Remember, for a full year Disco will match the 5% so a total of 10%.
