I didn't plan on applying for a Discover card. Actually, I didn't think I'd have one again because they were part of my BK in 2009. I saw an ad for them earlier so I stopped into their website to see what the pre-qualification page would say. It said I should be approved for the IT or IT Chrome card. I did some research here and found that members have had a lot of good things to say about the card. Great rewards and it seems to grow quickly so I went for it. My SL is $6K. Not as high as I wanted to see but I think it will easily be over $10K by the end of the year.
For reference, my scores are in the 740 range and I have 2 cards out of 10 reporting. Utilization is about 15%.
Nicely done.. Congrats on your approval.
Congrats!!
Congratulations! I am thinking about getting this card as well. They have great customer service.
CONGRATS
I was just looking at my Discover paperwork. They pulled EQ (it was a SP). My score was 744.
Congratulations! Enjoy your new card!
They usually give 0% interest on purchases for the first six months, and the first year they do the cash back match, instead of a SUB. That is really smart because they don't have to claw back a SUB from a deadbeat that stiffs them after the bonus is spent. You have to stay in good standing for really 13 months to get your bonus.
Congrats on the card!
