Been trying to help my roommate rebuild, he's currently an AU on my Discover and I've been giving him tips. He was approved a few months ago for a Lowe's card, and last week got a mailer from Discover.
He responded to it and got approved for a fancy $3000 SL! Guess the help I'm tossing him is paying off. Next step is a new high yield savings with auto transfers and auto pay to keep that Discover PIF every month. He's on the fast track to success.
Sadly... Means I won't get that sweet cash back for his spending on my Discover anymore... Sigh.
