Still helping my dad with his credit. Today he was pre-approved on the Discover site with the IT card. To his and my surprise, for $1,250. This will bring his score even higher.He is right now at 650 and 656 respectively on CK-Trans/Equ.

Would he be able to get approved for a Best Buy or Best Buy Visa? If so, would he receive a higher limit on the regular BB card over the BB Visa?

His scores are-CK Trans 651; Equ 656.

Best buy is Citi, they tend to be more selective than discover.

And it's hard to base the approval odds with CK scores.
