Congrats on the approval. They pulled both EX and EQ when I applied back on 7/9/16 too. I'll be trying for a CLI on 10/9/16, so I'll post how it goes.

Pathetic $500 starting line, called in to get it recon'd, and they said no, I need to use the card first for a little while. Bummer.
What is the best way for a good 90 CLI with them? Use the card a ton, and pay it off multiple times a month? Let the statement close with a balance? Want to do what I can to get a good increase hopefully in 90 days. Otherwise I have zero use for this card.
I tried the 90 day increase with Amex, but was denied due to a low credit score. At the time it was a 630, which is what they used when they approved me for the card. $1000SL.
Anyway, let me know what to do for a nice CLI in 90 days. Thanks,
Congrats on getting in with Discover. I swear they are a strange leander it took me 4 tries to get in and when I finally did i was expecting a $500 limit or something little but they gave me 6.5K. Just got an auto CLI of 1k with moderate use and various sized payments. So Im sure with some use and time they will give you something better.

wow double pull? jeez...
They sometimes double pull on marginal profiles.
i got approved a few weeks ago for 7.5k with a 670. double pulled exp and eq. I was impressed to say the least. congrats op
Interesting. Discover isn't known for double pulls or pulling EX. I'm not sure why you got the card if you didn't have a need for it, but I'd recommending using it at least for your category spend (if you were able to get the double your cashback promo, then you should use it for your gen spend when possible). They seem to like heavy use and PIF, so that might be your best bet at getting CLIs?
