Well Edmond its not the best Util, but 35% seems to be ok with a lot of lenders, ever since I passed below thr 50% overall util (and especially going into the 40%'s) I have been getting more and more pre approvals. Now will I be able to escape the mirade of gift shops and delcious food options at Disney while still maintaining a 10-20% indivudal utilization on this card....well, we can hope

I agree.
BTW I have my EX, TU and EQ files on ice; do you think I will have preapproval offers as is?
Congrats!!!
I am just scratching my head, wondering how you are able to "escape" with such utilization.
35% UTI really isn't that much. In fact its perfect in my opinion amd according to fico 30% is good. Many people on this forum say to try for below 10% but lets be real here .The reason for credit is to use it not let it sit there either. Lenders want to see that your also going to use their credit. If not then they wonder if you even need it at all and may end up giving that credit to someone who actually will use it. They make money on interest so they like to see utilization .Just not 100% UTI or anything obviously. But 35% is a comfortable number in my opinion. I applied with that much uti and they gave me 10k. Less than 10% UTI is not all its cracked out to be. That is merely for a boost in score and nothing more, if that.
