Discover IT mailer - approval!

Today I received a shiny gold envelope from Discover for their IT card. My first thought was “that’s pretty nice for trash” :-D. The only credit card mailers I’ve gotten after my rebuild were Credit One and another preditor card. I already have a FPB card that I need to dump. Anyway I open the shiny envelope and there is an invitation code along with a stated APR and a balance transfer option for 0% interest. Now they have my attention. Discover wouldn’t even give me their secured card but a regular IT card? Hmm. I go online and punch in the code. Approved for $700 (anyone know if you can recon for a higher initial limit?!) Not a high line but I’ll take it. I have a balance on my Cap 1 card for a recent purchase. I’ll take 0% thank you.

And now to say good bye to for FPB they can keep their $300 limit
