This is my biggest (unsecured) victory so far! On a whim I did the Discover pre-qualification tool and it came back that I was pre-approved for all 3 cards. I decided to shoot my shoot and apply for the IT standard card. It came back within about 15 seconds saying I was approved and with a generous $5K limit!
I did get an almost immediate alert that the actual app was an Experian HP. My EX scores are as follows:
FICO 08: 690
FICO 09: 704
FICO Bankcard 08: 692
FICO Bankcard 09: 702
I'm not sure what specfic score model they used but the HP was only Experian.
This is a proud moment after I've done a careful rebuilding with a few on time/paid off car loans over the almost 2 years, a few starter unsecured cards, and a NFCU secured card (should unsecure in very late June). This is the highest limit I've had in my post BK history but I am curious if I should try to do a CLI before receiving the actual card in 5-7 days as the email stated. I remember reading that you could request that with no detriment.
