My bankruptcy was 8/2012 and won't fall off my report until 8/2019. I'll admit, I was skeptical at first but using the pre-qualify put me at ease. I was pre-approved and applied. Low and below, Congrats, I was approved. I then checked my CL and it was 10,500. Largest CL credit card I ever had. I'm still in awe. I have a Capital One Quicksilver(3,300) and Capital One Platinum(4,000), Kohl's(700) Chevron(1,800). My credit score(Exp 684/TU678/Ex 688).

First, congrats on this!!!
Also, wondering how you check for pre-approvals. I've seen a couple people mention this, but I don't know how to do it or where to look. Thanks!
Just google Discover pre-qualify. It won't your score to check
Congratulations on your massive approval!
Thank you, I'm happy about it.

Got a Capital One Secured card 09/2014, which really seems the way to start out, and added 700.00 to get the CL to 900.00. They converted it to unsecured card without me asking at some point. March 2017 13 months ago, I applied for a Capital One Quicksilver and it has a CL of 3500.00. I logged in and asked for an increase to 5,000 and they gave me 7000.00. I pay off my balance every month.
Was reading on here Discover is a good one to try, so checked pre-approvals and had one for the Discover IT and the other one. Applied and got a 9500.00 limit! Wasn't expecting that since I included them in my Bankruptcy for 7200.00!
The moral of the story, is they loan people money who don't need it. :-)
Discover realized how great of customer you are. They just had to have you back. Congrats, OP! You earned it.
Take care of thing.
