This has been the one card that was like the Iron Curtain- DO NOT PASS!
But one afternoon I opted to try "one last time" for a coveted Discover It card. I applied after a recommendation from the free Discover Scorecard. My heart was racing like crazy as I completed the application. I knew this recommendation "was surely a trick and not a treat" but opted to give it a twirl.
That "application approval checking" circle seemed like it was taking FOREVER to come back with an approval but then, BAM APPROVED!! I literally fell off of my barstool and started shouting "Woohoo, FINALLY!!"
Super excited to now be able to experience the cash back and great benefits of Discover!!
Awesome. What a great feeing it is to finally see that approval. What SL did you get? Datapoints?
My SL is $2,000 which I am ok with!!
My FICO scores are in the 600s and no deliquencies, no lates, pay on time, one bank loan, and two installment loans for both of my vehicles.

Congrats! Disco has some solid benefits.
Congrats on your new Discover! Now if I could just get past that same IRON CURTAIN. Lol.
It happens to me too. I got a CL of 6k. So then I took a chance on AMEX and BAM 2k. These cards were out of reach forever. While on an AA flight I took a chance and apply for there card from Barclays. At first, they sent me a letter, and when I called them they granted me 1k, so I was checking on the FICO boards and notice a story on from Citi and I applied and BAM 7k. Then, I went on a raise my limit on several cards and bam landed more increases. Time to sit back and garden for a long time as I achieve my goals...
Congratulations on your new card! Enjoy the benefits!!
Congrats man! Made it past that curtain too the other day. Feels good!
