Well, last night I just got an itch to ask for a CLI.
I’ve had the card since July and have used this card, along with my PenFed, for BT’s.
I’m now done with my BT’s and am now working on lowering my balances. So I was trying to get increases wherever I could to help my UTI.
So it was a HP last night which I thought it would be a SP.
So I just checked and my $7k SL has went up to $7.5k.
Then I read about calling the lender # and I got a very nice CSR again and explained why the balance was high, me being new to credit, wanting to help my UTI, etc.
So she kept asking how much I was looking to get, and I said whatever you guys can give me.
She then said she was happy to increase my $7k SL to $11k, for a total of $4k in CLI’s.
Not bad for a call!
Calling the right place and explaining things has really seemed to help me.
