After months of pondering, and cleaning up my reports across all three CRAs, I decided to pull the trigger on a travel card. I was pre-approved for the Discover It Miles card. Applied and was approved for $7.5k. HP on EX only. This will help add to my slowly growing total CL which is now around $11k I believe. This forum has been so helpful in understanding every aspect of FICO and do's and don'ts.
Anyone with any pros for using this card? How do current card holders like it? I added this as my first (and only) travel card, paired with a Cap1 QS CB card.
*Update* - After gaining much needed confidence and feedback from this forum, I also app'd for an Amex Every Day card that I pre-qualified for. Approved for $1k SL with instant card number. Low limit, but I will take it, to get my foot in the door to the Amex world!
EX (FICO 8) - 682 as of 17 August 2018.

3% cash back on everything first year. This is great.
For which card is this? Their It Cash card? 3% CB is great indeed.
I wish my Cap1 was that.. ha ha. but at 1.5% it was a good first CC.
Congratulations. If you’re interested, Amex loves to approve a charge card (Green or Gold) along with credit cards. They will use the same HP.
