Discover It-Teensy Weensy CLI & I'm taking IT!

So back in May I was approved for my most coveted Discover It credit Card at 3.5k. 

I have been running apx 400-500 per month on the card and PIF. 

So my 3rd statement hit on Thursday.... I should of/could of waited to request an increase just a tad bit longer.But I got that itch that I needed to scratch and requested a credit limit increase.... 

Drum-Roll Please....  

Don't get too excited ! 

I got a $500 credit limit increase! 

WoW!  

Okay maybe not the most awesomeness of credit limit increases! 

But I took it ... I took it with pride!  

Maybe just Maybe there is an automatic increase in the works that is happening behind the scenes.  

And Maybe not... 

I will request again if not... but as you all say ... it is a marathon not a race! 

Im not going to look a gift horse in mouth. 

Maybe some of you have some experience with small increases upon request and a surprise increase.

I am still happy!

They usually give me $300

These is what i normally find too every 3rd statement cut. They still add up.

Wondering if I am now on the low-train-track of credit limit increases? 

Gawsh I hope not.... I was hoping I could reach a 10k credit limit line. 

How does this kind of thing happen?

Congrats on the increase. 

I have had had my discover it for 12 months. It started at 3500 and is up to 9500.

I hit the love button every 31 days after each statement. Received 4 $500 increases and 1 for 1k and 1 for 3k.

The lower increases came in the form of the slider bar but the bigger ones came after 2day review.

No they were all soft pull.

The discover it definitely has the potential to grow over time with just soft pull increases.
