Re: Discover It finally!

Thanks for that info, OP.  I would say the gain was so substantial because you only have (had) 2 files on your CR.  Typically we see thicker files than yours when we're talking about gains from baddies falling off.  Good data and I appreciate it.

Re: Discover It finally!

Thin file for sure @Anonymous . Just the 2 Cap1 cards and soon-to-be It card. I got an alert from Credit Karma on Thanksgiving morning indicating that charge off had been removed from Equifax. The Vantage score shifted from 705 to 735 there.

I was curious as to how a FICO score might look with it falling off. I ran the FICO simulator here on the site. It had me in the 720 to 740 range. Fast forward to last Saturday when I got an alert and email from Experian stating my rating and score had changed. I logged into Experian to see that little credit gauge stop at 744. I was pretty jacked up about that. Smiley Very Happy Just waiting on Transunion to update.

Thin profile but at least clean.

Clean vs Dirty > Thick vs Thin.  You're in a very good place.
