Last week I appd for a discover card after showing pre-approval. Needed to verify income. Income finally verified today!
Just got the email approved for $5000! I'm very happy!
They pulled EX, which had no scoreable inquiry, but 5 total. (Loose all but this one in June)
I'm going to be gardening for a long minute now as this was one of my goal cards, and nothing else is even on my radar. Why? Because the card I chose was pink and I'm a dork lol

All this income verification I see going on, I have never been asked for a credit card and if they do they wont ever get it.
